Take a look at our financial information and you may notice something incredible.  Based on our 2004 audit, performed by Mary Jane Dubbs, CPA……..LASA’s administrative overhead was 9%!

For every dollar we receive over 90 cents is used for direct services.  This doesn’t even include all the wonderful additional things we are able to provide our families/communities in the form of in-kind donations. These items include necessities such as toiletries, and things that improve the quality of life……..things like zoo tickets, hand made quilts, Easter baskets and more.

How is all of this possible?

The hard work of the staff, the wonderful donations we receive, a philosophy of being a good steward of your gifts and most importantly…….WONDERFUL VOLUNTEERS, like the ones who serve in our Outreach office make it possible. Each one of them dedicates one morning a week to helping staff the Outreach office.  We applaud them for their selfless gift of time and say thank you for all they give. We are also fortunate enough to attract volunteers through the United Way’s Day of Caring.  Also, volunteers like Brent who volunteer two afternoons a week working on our properties, and of course…..our Board. Many volunteers have been with us for five, six, seven or more years.  THANK YOU!
