A Note from Our President
“I believe that everyone has a responsibility to be involved in their community. My desire is to serve my community locally, and LASA has provided an opportunity for us to make a difference here in Lakewood. As I have learned more about LASA in the time that I have been involved in our programs, I have come to love what we do. I find great satisfaction in providing an opportunity for people who find themselves in difficult circumstances, to make positive transitions and maintain their dignity.
“I believe in serving. My upbringing and my faith in God has taught me that what we do at LASA is not just an opportunity due to my career, but a commitment to serve. Through my family and faith, it is a deep down commitment to serve our fellow man; we are all in this together, and we need to work together.
“I have two personal goals for LASA in the coming year. The first is to become well known in the community; not just in Lakewood, but throughout greater Pierce County. I would like greater visibility for what we do and who we serve. The second goal is simply that we continue to grow and serve more people.”
